Girls Gone Wine Annual Fun Run

Annually, the second Sunday in April, hundreds of fun, rebel-rowsing folks show up to participate in our super fun 6Kish event. It began on our 7th birthday in April 2013. We held it on April 7th and we had NO idea what distance the event was….so we called it a 7Kish! Then we decided to try to get the distance a little closer to factual, so now it is the 6Kish. It starts and ends at our winery.

The route winds along the lake entrance road, then onto the scenic hiking trail and back to the winery. It is THE perfect event for a novice walker, though we do get a few hard core runners too.

Proceeds from the event go to “Treasured Chests of McCurtain County”. Get your pink on and MARK YOUR CALENDAR for the second Sunday in April (unless its Easter, then it is a week later)! And just so you know…at the finish line we serve cookies and wine!
